Shuck the oyster and place it in a shot glass. In a separate mixing glass, combine vodka, tomato juice, hot sauce, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Stir well. Pour the mixture over the oyster in the shot glass. Garnish with a lemon wedge or a dollop of cocktail sauce, if desired.
